As I have researched biographies for Chautauqua presentations, I sometimes note with surprise the related information that just pops up unexpectedly.
This happened just yesterday with my Churchill research. While dropping off a few things at a local thrift shop, I took a look through the used book collection for texts by or about Churchill. The only one that caught my eye was Reflected Glory, and when I pulled it from the shelf, I found it was the biography of Churchill’s daughter-in-law with a plethera of WSC references.
“Chance favors the prepared mind.” As I live with Winston day by day, I wonder what other coincidences will present themselves to further my understanding. We’ll see.
